Chelsea is a mother of two, Mitchell and Sophie and has spent over ten years of her professional career working in the financial services.
When Chelsea is not using her keen negotiation skills creating memorable events for Friend In Meshe is renovating her house out for a bike ride with her family or travelling the world.
Kali is a 35 year old Mother of two crazy boys, Massimo & Marco.
Kali works in the government field but also runs a very successful Melbourne based children’s activity page “The Honest Mumma”
The Friend In Me movement to Kali means the world to her.
Kali believes that all our children need to be included and feel loved around friends.
Kali says that “we cannot control what happens outside our homes but Friend In Me can control providing a safe, loving and inclusive events”
Tarnya Eastway is a very proud mumma of 2 little kiddies. With a background in office management & event planning she has loved every single moment of being a mum & organising the lives of a family of 4.
Currently working part time in the family business as well as being mumma is the perfect balance in every way.
When Tarnya heard about the idea of Friend in Me her friend had created she jumped at the opportunity to be a part of such a fantastic & fulfilling project.
Being kind to each other & very aware of the many diversities children come with, especially since having children, it made the yearning to want to do something even stronger. This was the perfect event to be a part of & she is so proud to be part of such an incredible commitee that work with passion, heart, drive & emotion to make this world, especially for our children, a better place.
Chris brings to ‘Friend in Me’ fifteen years of experience analyzing, preparing and reporting on the financial accounts for organisations from a variety of industries. Chris is eager to offer these gained expertise’s to an NFP organization that is actively ‘changing tomorrow’ for children and families doing it tough.
On weekends Chis can be found lining up for a strong latte at Melbourne’s fine coffee establishments or chasing his giggling daughter around a park; or attempting to combine the two!
Brooke is a passionate advocate for child and maternal health and encompasses the principles of inclusion, equity and equality in her academical, clinical and personal life.
Currently, Brooke divides her time between clinical practice as a Paediatric Dietitian, leading childhood obesity research projects as a Medical Research Fellow at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and Royal Children’s Hospital and (most importantly) being ‘Mummy’ to a cheeky toddler.
A devoted mother of a boy, Silas and loving partner. Esther works in the fitness and health industry as an exercise physiologist and also race aged group triathlons.
Friend In Me allows Esther to express her feelings about how important it is that no child should be excluded from celebrations of any kind through no fault of their own and to show that friends stick together no matter how tough life can be.
