Making community sport truly inclusive
Incluzion X is a national initiative created by Friend In Me that helps local sports clubs welcome every child—especially kids with disability—through practical training, tools and ongoing support. It turns “inclusion” from a nice intention into everyday club culture.
Club training & education: hands-on, disability-inclusive workshops for coaches, volunteers and leaders—simple to implement, tailored to each club.
Tools & support: resources and follow-up guidance so inclusion sticks beyond one session.
When clubs are equipped to include every child, kids build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging—on and off the field. Incluzion X exists to remove the barriers families face when trying to participate in community sport
Incluzion X is a program of Friend In Me, expanding our mission of connection and belonging into community sport so no child is left behind.
Louise Larkin, a dedicated mother of four, is the visionary founder of Friend In Me. Her charity is committed to ensuring every child feels included and never lonely. With a professional background in hospitality, Louise’s passion for community impact began with a mums’ support group. In 2016, she launched Friend In Me, driven by the desire to bring kindness, inclusion, and joy to children after noticing some were excluded from social events.
Incluzion X is championed by high-profile athletes who believe every child should have a place to play and belong, including Archie Thompson (former Socceroo), Dain Swetalla (former NBL1 pro) and Nick Holland (former AFL player).
